We are excited to announce EuroCinema Hawai'i is now partnered with the Hawai'i International Film Festival.  Thought-provoking, bold and nostalgic, film can change our perception of a country, cultural issue, or individual.  Through the medium of film EuroCinema seeks to provide a greater understanding of Europe and its varied cultures. 

Founded and incorporated in 2009, EuroCinema Hawai'i is dedicated to the advancement of understanding and cultural exchange among the peoples of Europe and Hawai'i.  Prior to each annual festival a jury comprised of film directors and producers selects the festival's best film and award it the Princess Alliata di Montereale award.

Education is one of the vital components of the mission of EuroCinema Hawai'i.  Each year EuroCinema will provide a monetary award to creative media students in the state of Hawaii in an effort to help our island film makers advance their stories around the globe.

While they are passionate about bringing new European films to Hawai'i, ticket sales alone cannot cover the expense of staging such an event, and in order to underwrite these costs, the Fletcher Jones Hawaii Automotive Group has stepped in to support the Arts and our creative local community.
