Called the Range Rover Evoque, it's available in two distinct body styles - a sporty Coupe and more functional five-door - and has been available to drivers in North America only since October 3.

The 2012 Range Rover Evoque Coupe starts at $44,995 and is offered in two trims: Pure and Dynamic. The Evoque Coupe Pure is ultimately the most streamlined expression of the LRX concept from which the Evoque is derived. The Evoque Coupe Dynamic, on the other hand, has a unique, sporty vibe - even beyond what two doors lend.

Aesthetics aside, the Range Rove Evoque Pure and Evoque Dynamic have a lot in common. For example, they both are fitted with a 240-horsepower, 2.0-liter petrol-engine, four-wheel drive, and a six-speed transmission.  Standard interior options (i.e., climate control with air filtration and air quality cleansing, interior auto-dimming rear-view mirror, interior illumination, push-button start and passive key entry) as well as standard safety features (i.e., comprehensive airbag system and child seat LATCH anchor points) are also identical. They even share the same high-tech suite of information, communication and entertainment features. Where the two trims significantly differ are their interior themes, exterior options and option packs.

Like the Range Rover Evoque Coupe, from Land Rover, the five-door Range Rover Evoque (starting at $43,995) is also available in Pure and Dynamic trim levels. The primary differences between the Range Rover Evoque Coupe and five-door Range Rover Evoque is the number of doors, and the fact the five-door Evoque is available in a additional mid-level trim called the Prestige.
