Jaguar All-Wheel Drive Luxury Sedans Expected by 2014

Are you a luxury car driver who prefers more stealth looking sedans over boxy SUVs, but demand all-weather control? Jaguar/Land Rover Honolulu is happy to report that your short list of options is about to grow. Jaguar reportedly plans to add up to two all-wheel drive models to its lineup within two years. The two Jaguar models expected to gain all-wheel drive options are the XF and XJ.
The market Jaguar is targeting with this strategic evolution is the "Snowbelt of America", where they estimate all-wheel drive cars, trucks, CUVs and SUVs account for approximately 70 percent of all vehicle sales. Given Jaguar's, all-wheel drive sedans promise to navigate inclimate weather like snow leopards yet retain the lean profile of, well, Jaguars, Jaguar/Land Rover Honolulu expects the move to be matched with great success.
Of course, the forthcoming all-wheel drive sedans aren't the first such vehicles Jaguar has introduced to the U.S. market. Remember the X-TYPE compact sports sedan, which launched back in 2000 for the 2001 model year? That too, featured standard all-wheel drive. Add to the equation, Jaguar's previous 2011 announcement that they're considering developing a successor for the prowling X-TYPE; and we could see a total of not just two, but three new all-wheel-drive Jags on the market by 2014.
[Dealer] is curious. Would you be interested in a Jaguar where premium luxury meets all-wheel muscle? Leave us a comment and let us know.
