The all new anniversary edition of Land Rover Range Rover is out. It's called the Land Rover Autobiography, and can be yours for only $116,950 at Jaguar/Land Rover Honolulu in Honolulu, Hawaii.
This is, by far, Land Rover's most expensive and luxurious model. First introduced in 2009, Autobiography comes with a 5.0-liter, 510-horsepower supercharged V8 engine. The vehicle shifts into high gear easily, thanks to the updated Land Rover CommandShift system.
This Land Rover is lighter than previous models, weighing in at only 3200 lbs. With 20-inch alloy wheels and "sport-tuned" suspension, navigating the harshest city roads (which can be as bad as off-road driving) is smooth and seamless.
Land Rover's Terrain Response system, Hill Start Assist and Gradient Acceleration Control come standard. "Adaptive Dynamics technology helps firm control through sharp turns," according to Forbes. "Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Brake Assist, available Blind Spot Monitoring, available Automatic High Beam Assist and an available Surround Camera System are all on the menu."1
Inside, drivers will find a 14-piece wood veneer trim, along with other luxury designed controls to "please eyes, ears, hands, feel and nose." So, if you have a spare $116,000 laying around, head to your local Land Rover dealer and ask about the Autobiography edition.
