Land Rover is about to get into the hybrid car market, they'll add hybrid vehicles to the inventory of Jaguar / Land Rover Honolulu in Hawaii. A new report indicates the company is working on a slew of fuel saving vehicles.

In an interview with Inside Line, Land Rover's Global Brand Director John Edwards revealed the auto maker will follow a top-down hybrid strategy, focusing on larger models "where the greatest consumption gains are?

Jaguar's new global brand manager, Adrian Hallmark, hinted that Jaguar is talking about developing a new sports car that may also be offered as a sedan. This kind of addition would not only expand the luxury automaker's lineup, but potentially steel interest from BMW's 3 series.
