Jaguar C-X75 Goes For Production

Jaguar is considering putting their C-X75 concept into production. The vehicle was recently unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.

Details are limited, but sources claim the company is looking into the idea of building 1000 - 2000 C-X75's a year. However, this decision really comes down to whether or not Jag can create the concept's turbine engines. The hybrid lithium-ion batteries and turbines allegedly spin up to 80,000 rpm's, and travel an impressive 560 miles without stopping.

Jaguar C-X75 Concept

Jaguar has lifted the lid on the new C-X75 supercar. This concept could become Jaguar's first mega-performance vehicle since the 1994, when they canceled the XJ220.

When Jaguar introduces the supercar tomorrow, they will drop a bombshell. The car will race to 186 mph in 15.7 seconds, over a second faster than the Bugatti Veyron.

Land Rover Evoque 5-Door Revealed

Land Rover has released the first image of the five-door Range Rover Evoque. The car is based off the still very new and already popular two-ddor RangeRover Evoque model.

While the foreign auto maker has been quiet on details, engine options will include a 237 horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol and a 2.2-liter turbodiesel which will be rated at 48 horsepower and 187 horsepower.

Official data is still pending, but Land Rover expects the front-drive Evoque, equipped with a manual transmission and the entry-level diesel, will return 48 mpg US (58 mpg UK) and emit less than 130…
